THE RODNEES: We Mod Like That (2002)

I was a forty-eight year old stock broker when my twelve year old daughter, Chelsea, introduced me to a "new sound". What she played sent me back to another era. As Chelsea had never heard of the sixties, I never heard of the Rodnees; but when I did, I didn't look back. I didn't know they made music like this anymore! Songs like "Groovy People, Groovy Places" and "On My Block" put me in a frame of mind when "dropping out" was a good thing.

And that's exactly what I did. I quit my boring day gig and started to dedicate my life to learning about the Rodnees and their world. I now spend my days un-earthing details about my favourite band, un-covering their secrets and behind-the-scenes stories, as told to me by people who knew them, helped them or saw them live during their short lifespan (February 1999 to June 2000). Besides hoping that the band might someday re-unite, this is the best we can wish for. Ladies and gentlemen, as best as I'm able, here's the real deal behind the Rodnees!

Modly yours,

Wm. D. Kappelmeyer
(The World's #1 expert on the Rodnees and former Bear/Stearns employee)

The Bulls' Night Out is a dramatic thriller set in contemporary Greenpoint, Brooklyn. George Wall is a retired cop and bar owner. While playing cards one night, George's bar is held up. When George and his friends decide to teach the bandit a lesson, a series of events change George's life forever. The four retired detectives decide to take back the streets and clean up! What they didn't know, is that the streets have changed, and they have not.
