Welcome Home, Willy

The Fluff Schemes Are Made Of contains a potpourri of styles I tried to amalgamate into one CD. Unfortunately, I think now, I was only partially successful. The new wave tune ("I've Never Been Afraid...Til Now") goes back to my Road Show days, while the jazzier songs came fresh off of my pen.

I still love the 1960's concept of AM radio programming where a Beatles song would be followed by an Ella Fitzgerald song, which would be followed by a song by Marvin Gaye, followed the Kinks and Doors and so on. Today, radio stations are restricted by their particular formats and genres, so young listeners are rarely exposed to musical styles beyond their purview.

Fluff is my attempt at create an old style AM radio format CD that changes style with every song. Unfortunately, the result may not have been as cohesive as most listeners want to hear on one CD, but I remain proud of it nevertheless.
